Hi my name is Alexandria Hill, commonly known as Mrs. Allie. I am a licensed cosmetologist in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have been licensed since 2007 and practicing hair care for what seems like 30 plus years.
My mother is a licensed cosmetologist and my aunt is a professional hairstylist, so basically I grew up in the salon. During my career as a licensed cosmetologist I have work with some of the most well-seasoned stylists and barbers whom added much value and knowledge to my career. I am highly experienced in many aspects of hair care and I continue my education to expand my expertise.
The health and integrity of the hair is not only important to me but it is what I am most passionate about. I try my best to educate my clients on the ins and outs of haircare so that Treasuring their Mane becomes second nature. Having a little health background (I was a certified nurse assistant for seven years) I understand that true hair and scalp health starts within. Nutrition, exercise and supplements are a huge topic between clients and me and how it is not only a vital force for their overall well-being but how caring for yourself as a whole system will aide in the “Healthy Hair with Flair” we all desire.
Not only am I a professional and consistent hairstylist, I am also a wife, the eldest child, sister, aunt and a child of God. I'm a hard worker with goals and aspirations. I say all of that to let it be known I understand and empathize with not only my clients but individuals period. I know the many responsibilities that one has and how self-care can be easily put on the back burner. I believe that self-care is very vital and it gives us the energy and confidence needed to execute our day to day activities gracefully. Hair Care is my favored way to implement self-care.
